Comments: This clinic offers lots of facial treatments ranging from skin whitening to removing freckles and treating acne. They can raise your eyebrows for Bt3,000, inject you with Botox for Bt3,000, work on swollen cheeks for Bt5,000 and reduce your molars for Bt8,000. The clinic also sells its own range of beautifying products.

A sign outside the clinic advertised the following:

Patient Comments:

• I've visited one of the clinic namely Nitipon clinic at Central Festival market at Hatyai for the facial treatment of pigmentation, acne, dark sport, tightening the skin and whitening. After the treatment, there was not effective result. It makes me quite disappointed. The way they do, was not professional enough. They started the treatment without removing my make-up. Pimples never extract properly. And finished course without laser. After complaint they have did the flash light for touch-up only.

  Indeed I would like to know why misinterpreted regards with the laser treatment? Since I have clearly explained my needs, clinic should act properly on this fact, however clinic never take any action their end. My question, Is this way to treated tourist client? Why they have cheated for name of laser treatment? Is there anyone can assist on this issue. Appreciate if management look into this matter. (December 2018)

Comments: This branch of Nitipon clinic in Lee Gardens Plaza is now closed.

Patient Comments:

• To remove two dark spots on my RH cheek using lazer to burn off the marks. Skin becomes raw,doctor gave a tube of cream to apply to prevent infection. Whole process takes only 15mins.The treatment cost me Bt1370. Same job done in Singapore will cost about Sing dollars 650.00 (Bt15,600) (January 2011)
• To remove all small dark brown spots on my face where necessary. Dr.Paiboon Pitanupong has done a great job for only Bt2500. Actually it is a steal to do beauty face treatment in Hatyai. My friends in Singapore was surprised that i had it done in Hatyai. Asking me is it safe? Is the doctor a qualified doctor, etc,etc. (December 2011)

Comments: Pongsak Clinic is located just a few yards away from Wuttisak Clinic in Diana Department store. Just like Wuttisak, Pongsak clinics can be found all over Thailand.

The treatments seem to feature heavily on mesotherapy. This term meant nothing to me so I looked it up and it seems a little controversial. Anyway, with any aesthetic, non-essential treatment or surgery it is a personal decision whether you go ahead or not.

Comments: There is an obsession in Thailand with all things Korean, and combined with the Thai female obsession for beauty, many young Thai girls have attempted to achieve a Korean look.

With apparently no fear of serious eye infections, Thai girls walk around with cheap cosmetic contact lenses stuck in their eyes for the Korean 'Big Eye' look.

From what I have heard, Koreans are also obsessed with beauty and think no more of having plastic surgery procedures than going for a haircut. This clinic bills itself as a 'Korea Aesthetic Clinic' and anything Korean - especially to do with beauty - will always be a big draw with Thai girls.

The clinic is open from 11am to 8pm and lots of procedures are on offer, including full plastic surgery. Some other beauty clinics stop short of actually performing surgery.

Comments: The branch of Wuttisak Clinic that was located inside the second branch of Tesco Lotus in Hat Yai Nai was closed down and relocated to Central Festival in December 2013. I guess that being located inside Central Festival is better for business.

Comments: Wuttisak is a large chain and these clinics are found all over Thailand. The owner is just a young guy who obviously has incredible business skills.

He recognised the country's obsession with beauty and opened exactly the type of clinics that people wanted. I saw him on TV in the Bt100 million home he owns in northern Thailand.

I have no personal experience and the closest I ever get to this clinic is when I eat or shop at Diana. If you have, I would be very happy to receive some feedback.
